SANKOFA MIDDLE SCHOOL

03 - 05 Grades

Oklahoma's long-term goal is that by 2030, the majority of all students will score proficient on state tests, indicating they are meeting grade-level standards aligned to college- and career-readiness.

Data should not be used for evaluative or comparative purposes. Disruptions to instruction in SYs 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 resulted in non-uniform learning opportunities and affected students' access to assessment participation. For more information, see the Oklahoma Data Matrix.

Assessment Participation

Why do we measure this?

Examining participation rates helps us understand who did and did not test at the school, student group, and grade levels. Doing so provides important information about the characteristics of our test-takers and how those characteristics compare to prior years. In a typical year, the normal standard for representation is 95%. If participation rates fall below 95%, the performance of the school, student group, or grade level may not be an accurate reflection of the larger student body.

What was measured?

Data displayed here show the percentage of students that were enrolled at the time of testing who took a state test. Participation rates were measured by dividing the number of students who tested by the number of students who were enrolled and expected to test.
